Good food. Margarettas were good, and not skimpy

There was no soap or towels in the back bathroom where we had a party. Food was good, could be hotter. Nice staff.

My wife & I found food very tasty. Service was good. Waiter friendly and helpful. Will stop here again

Due to the covid-19 we had not eaten out in 6months!!!we did rock,paper scissors to see where we would eat. .We both wanted El Compadre!!!!!The food was Amazing!!!!!!

Have been there in the past always great food and large portions. BUT.. in light of the virus situation, they do not have anyway of communicating to order take out or even a message on phone to lets you know if they do take out!!!

This is a very authentic restaurant the tables and chairs came from Mexico. Everybody who works there in Spanish Spanish speaking very friendly atmosphere the food was amazing and the waiter was very nice and helpful he told us where we could find a nice Beach and he gave us tips on what to do and where to go the restaurant was very clean the drinks were very good and strong just the way I like them the kids were pleased with their meal as well.

Food was great! Service was very good! However, their card reader was down when we were there and they forgot to inform us until after the meal. We had to walk next door to the gas station to use the atm to get cash.

As a local i went to see if it got better.Absolutely nasty. Steak was like shoe leather and it looked like it has been sitting around for hours.Will never go back.

Friendly and great service. Back several times and now have tried 5-6 items. Each was great and no "oopsies".Gotta love a server who gets the order correct.

Food was delicious and the waitress was friendly. We had the carne asada combo and the "godornis" or game hen, they were yummy! Definitely coming back. We requested a drink but weren't crazy about the cherry flavoring and the waitress was quick to suggest an alternative, it seems as thought she really cared that we were satisfied.

Wonderful food and great prices for lunch specials. There is usually a quiet, calm atmosphere, and the service is always fast. As a local, this is one of the best places to eat at; we come here quite often and are never disapponted.

One of my favorite places to go. Always good food and such a happy crew that work there. Great place for large gatherings. Nice variety on the menu and a half ways piping hot.

It might night look like much outside, and the inside could use a quick sprucing up... Neno on the other hand was very professional and seemed to never stop moving. From welcoming folks with a smile between taking orders and putting food out he was moving. Timing was perfect... went in at 12:18, seated by 12:20, order taken at 12:31, food out by 12:46. Food came out perfect and the serving size was just right. Got a couple of Margaritas to top things off and we were not disappointed with the taste. Not to much tequila to over power the flavor, but just enough to say "Yup there's Tequila". A must for authentic dining.

I enjoyed the chile colorado. Mildly spicy and with lots of flavor. The restaurant was reasonably quiet and comfortable even as it filled up on a Saturday night. But service was slow, even though we arrived well before the evening dinner crowd. The server didn't know the menu. The person who brought out the plates didn't bring the entire meal without being asked. The water tasted moldy - maybe that was stale ice, or maybe that's how their water tastes. The reason I ordered the chile colorado was that all the other dishes on the menu are covered in sauce and cheese. Which is fine if you like that, which I don't. So - good meal but lots not to like. Oh - the plain margarita was completely legit, which makes up for a lot.

Had the Chili Verde and Chimichanga and both were excellent. Everything was super fresh and there was more than I could eat. Salsa was great and our chips tasted just barely cooked and they were still warm. Good service and bright happy atmosphere.

While traveling through the Pacific Northwest we came across this Mexican restaurant. Being we are from Southern Califorrnia, our Mexican food barometer is high. The chips and salsa were just okay. The chips were bagged chips that had been heated under a heat lamp and the salsa was just okay. We ordered the shredded beef tostada, Chile relleno and taquitos. All the dishes were well prepared and quite tasty, but the price for the dishes was slightly high and the tostada, although very tasty, was a small portion. The server was not overly friendly and did not seem to want to be there, but I had a feeling that was his normal disposition. I would come back here if I happened to be in those parts again.

Excellent food, excellent service! I'm local and eat here often. The Arroz Con Pollo and Carne Asada are amazing! Great margaritas as well.

You don't expect good Mexican food in small towns like this. But El Compadre is really good.

We prefer this location over the Warrenton, Oregon one. Great customer service coupled with a full bar that serves great margaritas and a full menu that makes it easy to find a filling meal. Fresh and hot food that never disappoints. This is the only game in town for Mexican cuisine up on the peninsula, so i can get packed. Very popular spot with the locals. Great chips and salsa too.

Meat is dry always lacks Mexican flavor... Salsa is not good..

It's been a great while since we have been here and the food and cocktails have always been good, and I'm happy to report, they still are. Even with masks on we were still able to eat and drink 😀 enjoyed the steak rancho mas, big plate that was easily shared.
